Fen Drayton Wulf Warrior T-shirt
This design was made by Julie, a Norwegian artist who specialises in artwork similar to the hand-poked traditional tattoo method. The design is based on an artefact found in Fen Drayton, Cambridgeshire, England. The original find is a cast copper-alloy Early Medieval Pressblech or die-plate dated to the 6th century AD used for making thin, sheet metal, mounts. The image shows an individual with a wolf head, according to the Norse sagas this may be representing an Úlfhéðnar or Wolf-Warrior, an elite group of warriors part of a king's comitatus or war band. The figure is also shown holding a spear and sword, with detailing of a mail shirt or armour.
